Holidays are for family. As for holiday parties….over-rated. I’m going to get dragged to one, and I’d rather just relax. Nothing says fun like going to a party single where there are almost all married/almost married people. El Yay…or not.

Be thankful you don’t have a holiday work party. I’m dreading mine and the whole white elephant gift exchange. I’m so bad at those that I just ended up getting a Target gift card. Yay!

My gCal for the month of December is also woefully empty, especially compared to November. But I keep reminding myself that November filled up rather slowly, like a day in advance of an event, or a week, etc. Like you said, plans will come =) And I also desperately need a job…

Don’t feel bad at all. I feel like beginning of December is always slow and then all of a sudden it’s busy and random holiday related things start to arise.

Don’t feel bad about having an empty schedule…I usually start the month of December feeling the same way, but inevitably it fills itself up enough that there is stuff to look forward to, but enough time to just enjoy the season. Take a look and see what’s going on around town too, there might be holiday festivals, art shows, or caroling that you could go to!
