Everyone loves a Boston girl. This is the story of one Boston girl's adventures in the city, in blogging, and in getting through those crazy 20-something years.

I'm a writer by trade. And by passion. I'm a lover of food, friends, and all things Boston. I listen to music pretty much 24/7 and idolize Martha Stewart. I love my job(s), my life, and this city. Follow me on Twitter! @Susie

clean my uggs.

Today, as I was assessing my current shoe situation (conclusion: way too many for my small closet and way too many that I don’t wear. However, want/need/must have more), I realized my white Uggs are no longer wearable. They pretty much look like my black ones (only bluer…from my jeans) so I decided to try and bleach them. Hey, I was cleaning the bathtub anyway and I figured the worst that could happen is the bleach would destroy the Uggs; but who cares, because they’re too nasty to wear anyway.

FYI: Uggs hold like gallons of water. I seriously managed to get at least 3 gallons out of each of them. By my estimate, they will be dry and good to go by the first snow (assuming that’s not until mid-December). But at least they are whiter…I think. I think I’m pleased with the results, but I’ll let you know.
