Everyone loves a Boston girl. This is the story of one Boston girl's adventures in the city, in blogging, and in getting through those crazy 20-something years.

I'm a writer by trade. And by passion. I'm a lover of food, friends, and all things Boston. I listen to music pretty much 24/7 and idolize Martha Stewart. I love my job(s), my life, and this city. Follow me on Twitter! @Susie

New idea for long commutes on the T:

Write that book you just haven’t had the time to sit down and pen. This is what an Italian man did while he was on his way to work. He wrote a 384-page science fiction novel called Compagni di Viaggo. Ooh you can’t bring your laptop on the T with you? Don’t worry, neither could author Robert Bernocco. But you have a cell phone, don’t you? So, no excuses. Bernocco legit wrote an entire book on his cell phone using the T9 function.

I honestly have a headache just thinking about doing this. Sometimes it takes me 5 minutes just to type a simple “Where are you?” text message. And it frustrates me to no end when I try to type “me” and T9 writes “of” and when I want to type “don’t” and T9 writes”foot” or when I want to type “go” and T9 writes “in;” you get the idea. Point is, 384 pages must have meant an awful lot of “next” hitting. Ugh, I’m seriously going to feel like a waste of space on the T now.

I would pay to see this man’s fingers move on his cell phone’s keypad. And I’d also like to know what his fellow commuters thought of him. Musta’ looked like quite the popular guy. Text messaging foooo.
