Everyone Loves a Boston Girl

And we sweeeept the Yankees!! Yes! And set new records in the process…how amazing were the four home runs in a row?? Anyway, I’m super excited and some of my bitterness is starting to melt away. Yes, I was/am extremely bitter that Trot Nixon is no longer a part of the Red Sox. Honestly, Trot WAS Boston to me and I never thought he would be gone, and I don’t think I’ll ever like a player as much as I like and respect him. I even secretly hoped for J.D. Drew to suck hardcore (but still have the Sox do well despite him, of course). I wanted Boston to regret their horrible decision to let Trot go. But Drew is not sucking, and was part of the home run quartet tonight, so I can’t be too mad. If he hadn’t taken Trot’s position, I might even say I like him a little bit. I still stand firm that he shouldn’t have taken #7, however.

Hopefully the Sox will continue this domination. At least for now they have overcome that horrible fall they had to the Yankees last year. But I do still miss Trot. He should be here. GO SOX!
